Institutional Diligence
What initial institutional screening actually covers

Initial screening is narrower than full diligence. Knowing the difference helps both sides use time well.
Initial screening is a filtering exercise. Institutions are typically confirming strategy fit, fund size, geography, team stability and whether the manager is plausibly investable within their programme constraints.
Full diligence — operational review, reference calls, legal review, track record verification — comes later and is materially more demanding.
